What is the verzekeringsbericht?
The verzekeringsbericht (insurance report) is an overview from UWV of your employment history: which employers you worked for, in which periods and the salary that went with it. Lenders use it to verify your income.
You download it yourself, free of charge, through Mijn UWV. All you need is your DigiD.
How to download it
Follow these steps:
- Go to uwv.nl, click Inloggen (log in) at the top right and choose Mijn UWV.
- Log in with your DigiD (using the DigiD app or SMS verification).
- Go to Persoonlijke gegevens (personal details) and choose Verzekeringsbericht (sometimes listed under Mijn gegevens or Arbeidsverleden).
- Click Verzekeringsbericht inzien (view) or downloaden (download) and choose the PDF.
- Save the PDF on your phone or computer, then upload it in your upload portal or send it to us.

Search within Mijn UWV for the word verzekeringsbericht; the search box is at the top of the page. Screen names and menu paths may differ per version of the website, so the route above is a guide.
No DigiD yet? Apply for one at digid.nl; the activation code arrives by post and takes a few days.
Submitting
Submit the verzekeringsbericht as a PDF, not as a photo or screenshot, so the document stays complete and readable for the lender.
